She was also awarded a Facilities Engagement grant to develop guidelines for managing vulnerable patients in the hospital.

She is also the provincial practice director for Psychiatry in BC Cancer, Clinical Associate professor at UBC and the past president of the BC Psychiatric Association. She is also an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Tufts University School of Medicine and an adjunct faculty participant in the UM PM&R and Family Medicine residency programs. She has an interest for a long time in research and education related to musculoskeletal disorders. She currently teaches Neuromuscular and Musculoskeletal Medicine to Family Medicine residents and has ongoing research projects related to musculoskeletal health, electrodiagnostic medicine, and performing arts medicine.
